You cannot help it but feel sorry for one-man bands, doing all those instruments by themselves. I mean, don’t they have musically-inclined friends to lighten his load? You can hand him this Korg KR Mini and that loner musician may be inspired enough to write a song about you.

The Korg KR Mini rhythm controller provides back-up beats that adds spice to one’s guitar session. It features nine presets namely 8-beat, 16-beat, rock, R&B, pop, metal, Latin, jazz, and dance, therefore covering most genres of contemporary music. You can tell that sad musician he can chain the presents together and create his customized backing track.

The device’s 16 velocity sensitive pad can also perform finger drumming, so he can create more layers of loops. It is like having a full band by himself without the misery. He can also plug effects pedal boards and foot controls if he is into that. Oh, and its small size makes the Korg KR Mini very portable and convenient to carry anywhere.

It also comes with built-in speakers and can be powered with just three AA batteries, in case the rinky-dinky bar has no wall outlet available.

The Korg KR Mini will be available starting November for $79.99.
