After the release of the Eee PC in 2007, other manufacturers were expected to follow suit and come up with their own portable notebooks. With hotspots mushrooming throughout cities in all corners of the globe, the PC market is now ripe for easy to use, ultraportable, and cheap computers. One of the smart looking subnotebooks available in the market is the MSI Wind U100.

The Wind U100 is powered by Intel® AtomTM N270 processor and operated by genuine Windows® XP Home. It features a 10-inch wide screen display, giving you better comfort while reading or viewing. Its 1024 x 600 resolution relieves concerns of web page full display while browsing, which gives you more freedom when surfing the Internet. First impressions of this device are strong as MSI ensures that the notebook doesn’t look like a cheap device.

Measuring 260 x 180 x 19-31.5 mm (L x D x H), the notebook has an ergonomic touch pad and a big-size keyboard and a 512MB/1GB (DDR2 667) system memory. The MSI Wind U100 also features a comprehensive multimedia application interface, a built-in webcam (1.3M / 0.3M), HD audio and stereo speakers, and 802.11b/g WLAN with Bluetooth. The Wind U100 is priced at $430. Click here to find an MSI distributor near you.
