Nintendo has announced it is tweaking its Wii U Deluxe Set in an effort to entice more consumers into buying its struggling next-gen console.
The company has removed Nintendo Land as the bundle’s tie-in game and replaced it with a two-in-one disc featuring New Super Mario Bros. U and New Super Luigi U. Those who insist into playing the party-friendly Nintendo Land would have to download it on Nintendo’s eShop (preferably on November 1, after Nintendo slashes the title’s price to $30).
The new Nintendo Wii U Deluxe bundle will also be available on the day after Halloween with a suggested retail price of $299.99.
Nintendo also offers another Wii U Deluxe set that features a GamePad controller adorned with artwork inspired from The Legend of Zelda series, which comes with download codes for The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD and Hyrule Historia. It is also available for $299.99.
