Samsung has blazed its way into being one of the major smartphone players with its slew of popular models. Its Galaxy series of smartphones and tablets have become quite popular Android devices all over the world. And the Korean company is still trying to introduce even more choices for its customer base by coming up with newer models to target certain markets. One of those recently announced is the new Samsung Galaxy J1 Smartphone.
The Samsung Galaxy J1 is the very first smartphone from the J Series. The new smartphone features a 1.2GHz dual core processor with 512MB RAM and 4GB ROM. There is also a MicroSD slot to expand storage memory for up to 126GB.
The Samsung Galaxy J1 also comes with a 4.3-inch WVGA display, dual SIM capabilities and an Android 4.4 KitKat OS. The smartphone also comes with a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP selfie camera. The Samsung Galaxy J1 also comes with a rounded edge and slim profile that makes it easier to grip or handle. Features such as the Palm Selfie function can detect the movement of your hand so that you can snap a photo with just a simple hand gesture. And also, a Tap to Take Pics feature will enable you to take selfie photos simply by tapping anywhere on the screen. The new Samsung Galaxy J1 has recently found its way into Samsung’s Malaysian website. That means it will initially be available in the region. However, there are no details provided yet on the actual date of availability or the expected pricing for this new Samsung smartphone.
