Samsung Unveils Android-Based Galaxy Player

Android is slowly starting to become the OS of choice. However, it has yet to provide users a media player they can exploit, which will is said to be unveiled next year come CES time courtesy of Samsung. The 4-inch Galaxy Player will run on Android 2.2, with front and rear cameras, as well as a removable battery.

The device will also have a 1GHz CPU, a Super Clear LCD screen with WVGA resolution, T-DMB digital TV tuner, audio enhancement technology, WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS, HD video playback, microSD card slot, and access to Android Market and Samsung Apps.
