Sony Introduces Clip-On Monitor for Cameras

[1]Do you find the preview window of your digital camera[2] too small when recording videos in HD? Sony[3] introduced a solution to that dilemma with the CLM-V55, a 5-inch clip-on screen with WVGA solution. The CLM-V55 can be attached on most interchangeable lens cameras as well as compatible HD camcorders with the help of an auto-lock accessory shoe or ISO shoe through an adaptor. It can be connected to other devices via HDMI, not to mention the tilting and swivel “to any angle” capability.

The device, according to Sony Europe, will be released in March 2011. Although pricing is not yet revealed, sources say that it could hit a whopping US$500-ish.
