Invented By

Brian Shy

Chicago, IL

Like all Quirky products, Digits were invented and influenced by real people like you. Midwest winters have bite. It's no wonder that while Brian Shy was studying medicine in Chicago, he started sewing conductive thread into his gloves, prototyping what is now Digits. Brian is inspired by scientist Norman Borlaug, who developed agricultural techniques that saved about a billion lives from starvation. Fun fact: Brian and his fiancée Kim met delivering pizzas at Michigan State.
