the current price of 3.99 is fair
This app is worth 3.99, yea. Please don't bring back that 8 dollar price.
I like the journal set up, its fun to have unlimited pages of a book. The ink is crazy smooth like water. I like the addition of all the colors, most users don't know just swipe down for more choices.
I am grateful for having used this all these years and having an easy way to give something back to the dev if I want with the .99 tools. At .99 ... the price feels ok to vote for a tool I like. And I like that the essential pack as them all ... one time ... no more charges. A new tool gets added someday ... guess what? Its in essentials. Thats an incentive for me to buy the total pack. Its called loyalty to customers.
wish for a (cheat) real color wheel addition. wish for universal-phones are big enough now wish for text because a lot of us users are productivity users and need a way to type something on there. handwriting just is not practical.
its worth 3.99 for a premium app like this, in my opinion take it from someone who writes the most awful reviews on the app store!
if there was a pro (no-iap) version, it would sell hundreds of copies and go from should have this to must have this. but im counting my blessings the apps not 8 dollars any more ...

Its an OK app
When I buy an app I want it to stand out. This one is like all the others. You give a little and promise more for more money. I just wish it were like ArtRage where it is one price and thats it. I found I had 8 of these apps on my iPad. This one sadly got deleted because it offered nothing more than the others that I paid more for and got everything. You know whats better. My Evernote Moleskine that I can take a picture and it appears in my Evernote Library. Thats something. I found this other app that allowed me make arcs and circles and ellipses and draw only the parts I wanted. Again I had to pay for that when i thought I got it free. After the demo I went looking for it and it wasn't available. A part that was payed for. Don't let me play with it, just to rip it away and make me pay for it. This app is good but not enough to stand out. Sorry guys.
The Gold Standard!!!!!
This app has been indelible on my iPad since its release. The 53 team are a group of dedicated creatives, engineers, designers and artists that are forging the next generation of creative tools. Most from Microsofts failed Courier project this team is a rare star of hope in a world of mundane uninspired mobile tools.
I'd argue this app is as important to the iPad as the built in mail, contacts and maps apps. I designed 90% of the home improvements through this app, themed my child's bday and planned my wedding all through these tools. The drawing algorithms are better then any other app created on any tablet.
I'm still looking for an import images/ trace feature and this application would be perfect.
